W ith hope and a prayer, April (and early May) showers will bring a bounty of flowers throughout the summer. The Little City has done a bang up job cleaning up the streets for the season ahead. Kudos to Jim Larrow and his crew and the VUHS high schoolers who pitched in during their recent break!

~ Bridge to Bridge Flower Campaign Begins ~

A nd speaking of flowers, Operation Vergennes Beautification has begun! Community members, businesses and others are encouraged to join us in the annual drive to raise funds for flowers on the bridge and on up through Main Street! This year’s “ Bridge to Bridge ” campaign (Otter Creek to Kayhart Crossing) will raise funds for not only the flowers on the bridge, but also lining the downtown district and other entry points into Vergennes.
