The Adrian Dominican Sisters who serve in the Philippines are safe from the Taal volcano, located in Taal Lake, in the southern part of the island of Luzon. The volcano began erupting on January 12, 2020, and a more intense eruption is expected.  Read more
Sister Patricia Erickson, OP, Spends Saturdays Treating People Seeking Asylum

 As a nurse practitioner, Sister Patricia Erickson, OP, sees special patients every Saturday: people seeking asylum in the United States, but staying in shelters in Tijuana, Mexico, while awaiting their asylum hearing. She is among many health care workers and other concerned individuals who volunteer their time with Refugee Health Alliance.  Read more

Election Issues Series

As we begin another presidential election year, Weber Retreat and Conference Center is hosting a series of monthly talks in preparation for Election Day. The 2020 Election Issues Series: Becoming an Informed Voter is offered on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Each session features an expert or team of experts discussing a major election issue.  Read more
