I hope to see many of you before we take a bit of a break from meetings and events this summer.

Vermont PE Board Immediate and Future Vacancies
The Vermont Board of Professional Engineering, within the Office of Professional Regulation, has a current vacancy for a member licensed as an Electrical PE in Vermont. In addition, a vacancy for a member licensed as a Structural PE in Vermont will exist as of December 31, 2023. If your Vermont PE stamp says “Electrical” or “Structural” on it, you would likely be eligible.
The Board is responsible for overseeing the licensure of engineers (e.g., review/approval of applications), disciplinary matters related to licensed engineers, and other activities under Vermont statutes and rules. Members are appointed by the Governor for fixed terms of service. The Board meets the first Thursday morning of every other month, starting February of each year. Meetings are currently held virtually using remote-meeting software; when in-person meetings were held prior to COVID-19 (and possibly again in the future), they have been in Montpelier.
