Veronica Frazier Joins STS Staff

We are pleased to announce that Veronica Frazier has been hired as our Director of Member Development. She begins her new role at STS on Monday, June 10, which also coincides with the STS Congressional Summit on Travel & Tourism in D.C where she will be in attendance. A graduate of Florida State University, Veronica began her career in the hospitality industry at the Macon-Bibb County Convention and Visitors Bureau where she held sales and service positions. Upon moving to Jacksonville, Florida, in the spring of 2017, she continued her work in destination sales at Visit Jacksonville. Most recently she was a national accounts manager where she focused on developing relationships with industry partners and meeting planners to attract meetings and conventions from the northeast territory and the medical and pharmaceutical markets.

Veronica Frazier Director of Member Development Southeast Tourism Society As Director of Member Development, Veronica will work with STS corporate partners and sponsors to curate exceptional programming and opportunities for STS members, throughout the year, including at STS events.  In this role, she will also develop and expand the STS membership base throughout our member states. "Veronica’s experience in sales and service provides a unique insight and understanding of travel and tourism professionals’ needs as we continue to develop relevant content, and applicable industry practices, for our STS members," said Monica Smith, President and CEO of STS. "We are looking forward to having her as part of the STS family as we continue to work towards strengthening the travel and tourism industry via our four pillars of education, advocacy, recognition, and networking."
