With 28 years in financial services, Jenn Ocampo-King’s journey from a high school placement in settlements to Managing Director, Prime Brokerage at TD Securities is a masterclass in intentional career building. From the beginning, she recognized that what would sustain a long and meaningful career was the people. Her team, her clients, her leaders and her family: these relationships became the foundation upon which everything else was built. Jenn’s advice to those earlier in their career journeys, “This industry is incredibly entrepreneurial. If you’re given the opportunity to be part of a team and business, embrace it fully as any opportunity may change your trajectory. Be curious. Take ownership. Build relationships. You have more power than you think to write your story. You don’t need to be perfect. You only need to be brave enough to try, strong enough to keep going, and authentic enough to be yourself”.
