Archbishop Ryan High School
August 31, 2020
Dear Students and Families,

This email contains important information about our new Chromebook 1:1 Program at Archbishop Ryan. We are thrilled to let you know that when students return in September, all students will receive a Chromebook. Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, the Archdiocese, and the state of Pennsylvania, there is no additional charge to our families for these devices. The only charges will be for insurance ($25.00 per year) and Go Guardian ($18.00 per year). Both of these charges will appear on FACTS.

Students must use a school issued Chromebook during school time on both A and B days. Our Director of Technology, Mr. Antonio Vargas, will be able to push out apps, programs, textbook information and other items to all users at once and teachers will need to monitor student work through Go Guardian.

We plan to provide Chromebooks to students on the opening days.

A student will only receive their Chromebook once this document below has been completed and returned to us. Without this completed document and the Chromebook, a student will not be able to join classes.

This document requires student and parent information, as well as signatures. A copy will be emailed to you after you press submit. It can take up to 24 hours for the document to generate an email.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this form and for your support. We are very excited to being the year and the Chromebook roll out!
