As most of you know, Friends of Dog Mountain (FODM) is a nonprofit organization established in 2015 by friends and family of the late Stephen and Gwen Huneck to preserve, protect, and steward St. Johnsbury's Dog Mountain and the artistry of Stephen Huneck that mean so much to all of us.

This funding is a major shot in the arm for FODM, which has been busy developing a long term vision and plan that'll keep Dog Mountain - and Stephen's art -- alive and thriving for decades to come.

"FODM has been working hard over the past year and these funds will let us move from concept to action" said Jon Ide, Gwen Huneck's brother and president of FODM. "Now we can really get going on transitioning Dog Mountain from an uncertain future to one that's stable and secure, operated and supported by FODM," Jon says.

But we need your help! The RBEG grant is a great start. But we still will need significant financial support going forward to get to where we need to be to call this a done deal.

For starters, a condition of the RBEG grant is that FODM must come up with $26,000 in matching funds, and we're counting on our community of wonderful fans and supporters to pitch in with contributions. One very special anonymous supporter has pledged to match donations, dollar for dollar, up to $13,000, which will get us to the needed $26,000. So if you donate now, your donation will effectively be doubled!

So please consider joining the cause by donating today and having your contribution matched! CLICK HERE to make an online donation and find out a bit more about FODM. You can also donate in the name of a pet or loved one or as a gift.

Let's do this! Dog Mountain Forever!
Thank you for your continued  support! You make Dog Mountain possible!
