It is with very sad hearts that we share the news that our dear friend and member of our ReaLife Church family, Karen Nordvall, has died.
Karen and her husband and retired pastor, Bob, were visiting their son, Karl and his wife in Madison, Wisconsin this past weekend when Karen suffered a severe stroke. She was airlifted to University of Madison hospital. She died this morning at 4:30 am.
For any of you who are regular attenders at ReaLife, you know Karen as that caring person that always took the time to ask you how you were and she sincerely wanted to know.
She was the one who was available to pray for you after church ready with her kleenex box in hand...just in case.
She was the one who arrived early and stayed late in order to help and serve in whatever way was needed.
Karen is the one who rallied us together to pray before services started. She was the one who checked in the kids at our Summer Camp with a friendly smile.
She is the one who prayed every Wednesday night in her home along with others for the prayer requests you write down on your Connection Cards.
Karen was a friend and mentor and spiritual mom to many of us at ReaLife Church. She will be deeply, deeply missed.
Our hearts and prayers go out to her husband Bob, her daughter Siri (Mike) and their two kids, Elena and Stella and son Karl (Tina).
