VetCOT 2025 Annual Conference Recap

We had 112 attendees, including speakers and sponsors, at the spring VetCOT conference in Las Vegas in April. The group represented 65 clinics and some individuals travelled from as far as Australia, Canada and Israel. The translational medicine panel discussion continues to be a conference favorite, as well as the small size of the conference, giving people the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. We tried a new event this year-- lunch workshops. The feedback was quite positive and we'll be including them in next year's agenda.

Save the date for next year's conference--April 24-26, 2026, in Las Vegas.

Thanks to your continued efforts we also have 75,000 registry case entries.

We looked at the number average entries by month across all Verified Trauma Centers. Each trauma center received a customized report. Here is a snapshot of all VTCs.

Trauma Support Subcommittee

With a heavy heart, we are passing along the sad news that we have lost a pillar of our VetCOT community on Friday May 16th: Jocey Pronko. Jocey was a tireless advocate for ensuring the veterinary nurse/technician voice was involved with all things VetCOT. The Trauma Support Team subcommittee was her brainchild, and a critical component of the overall VetCOT initiative. Jocey was the first recipient of The Dr. Alison Wilson Trauma Support Team Award at the VetCOT conference in 2024. She will be deeply missed.
