A Spotlight on Veteran Enriched Neighborhoods®
Help Marcos move in this year
This is Marcos. With your help, he will achieve his homeownership goals by the end of this year. In honor of Veteran’s Day, please consider helping the low-income military families we serve with access to affordable, safe homeownership, and supportive services.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Appliances, cabinets, and kitchen countertops, oh my!

We are installing floors and finishing up the last details on our next 10 homes. And even more progress, the streets are being paved! We are so excited for the next 10 families to move in to our Palmdale neighborhood.
FAMILY SERVICES
Our Veteran Families
Trick or Treat! The children in our Palmdale neighborhood got a wonderful surprise with the delivery of Halloween treat bags!

And while we never missed a beat with our Zoom workshops, we are thrilled to be back in person at the Palmdale MyTIME Center for workshops multiple times a week. Our newest Veteran families came out for our Homeowner Orientation which gives them a chance to ask questions about the program in addition to getting to meet their new neighbors who in the months ahead they will get to connect in workshops and completing sweat equity hours before moving into their neighborhood.

EVENTS
Our 3rd Annual Rainbow Build was a wonderful community event that brought together our diverse volunteers and veterans. We painted up a storm and had a fabulous time.
Our Over the Edge event held on Saturday, October 30th was a huge success thanks to our daring donors who rappelled, bought art, and came out and supported Homes 4 Families. We raised over $132,000!
Support H4F with Amazon Smile!
Buying some gifts online this year?
Please consider adding Homes 4 Families as your Amazon Smile designation.

It costs absolutely nothing and we appreciate you taking the time to give in both big and small ways to our organization.
FUNDER SPOTLIGHTS

THANK YOU to everybody who donated to our A Community Thrives campaign this past summer! Not only did we exceed our goal of $6,000, but we were selected as one of the three nonprofits NATIONWIDE to receive a $100,000 grant! A Community Thrives is a grant-making and crowdfunding program from the USA TODAY NETWORK. The initiative is part of the Gannett Foundation and supports non-profit organizations with projects focused on community building. We literally could not have done it without you. Thank you also to the Gannett Foundation and the Ventura County Star!
A huge thank you to Boeing, who recently contributed a grant through their Our Heroes pillar, which supports veterans with rehab and recovery programs, and helps those systematically disadvantaged by societal barriers. Boeing’s contribution will fund all of the services we provide for twenty veterans and their families for an entire year. These services include financial literacy and homeowner training, and trauma-informed programming to help military families become more resilient. Here is a picture of Boeing volunteers painting several homes at our recent Rainbow Build. We are so grateful for this new partnership.
Our Sponsors
Our most heartfelt appreciation to the sponsors who make it possible for us to continue serving our Veterans.
