Hard Hats 4 Heroes Recap

Want to enjoy a sunny day while eating lunch? Don't forget to stop by the urban community garden and grab a seat at the picnic table that was built during our Hard Hats 4 Heroes Build!

Despite the 105° weather, our volunteers did an incredible job with completing 2/4 basins, grading, finishing a sidewalk with concrete, and installing pavers at the park.

Thank you to all our participants for another successful build!

All Heart Heating and Cooling

Thank you so much to All Heart Heating and Cooling and its owner Dylan Rucker for selecting Homes 4 Families as its June All Heart Miracle Grants Program recipient! Each month, the company chooses an organization from one of the many areas they service to receive a $1,000 grant. But that’s not all! Throughout the month of July, they ran a radio ad that talked about this partnership. These ads reach hundreds of veterans throughout the Antelope Valley who listen to the many stations operated by High Desert Broadcasting, letting them know about our affordable homeownership program. Here is Dylan presenting the check to CEO Donna Deutchman (R) and Donielle DeLeon (L). We appreciate you, All Heart!

Griddle and Propane Tanks

With a heartfelt donation made by Ramsay Hawfield of Nexgrill, each family living in the Palmdale community received a brand new Nexgrill Megamaster Griddle BBQ!

Our Board member, Bill Hawfield, also donated a $50 gift card towards propane tanks to each Palmdale family.

Thank you Ramsay and Bill Hawfield for this generous donation!

"Thank you so much for this awesome gift! My son and I are very thankful."

-Carl Holmes
