A Spotlight on Veteran Enriched Neighborhoods®

Construction Update

Within the last quarter, we have completed the installation of fencing, countertops, flooring and carpet, windows, interior and exterior painting for Phase 3 of the Palmdale Veteran Enriched Neighborhood®. We are currently in the process of installing appliances and landscaping. We hope to move our eight military families into their homes by Christmas with the help of our community.

The North Hollywood Veteran Enriched Neighborhood® TEAMBuild's kicked off on November 9th and 10th in honor of Veteran's Day. Thank you to Home Depot and the Apollo Team for their incredible work!

The teams did an outstanding job helping us begin this project by building and painting picnic tables and raised garden beds, stuccoing the block wall, grading, and fencing.

Give a Gift This Season to Get our Veterans Into Their Homes By The Holidays

Kirmani was born and raised in Watt Town, St. Ann Jamaica. Calling upon his experience, when Kirmani moved to the U.S. in his late 30s, he joined the Army National Guard where he still serves today.

Kirmani and his family currently live in a tiny 1-bedroom apartment, and with your help can soon have a 3-bedroom fixed-mortgage home in a community of veterans to call their own.
