A Spotlight on Veteran Enriched Neighborhoods®

We had an amazing turnout during our annual WE Build 2023 on Saturday, May 13th! We accomplished $32,000.00 worth of work! Our wonderful volunteers planted plants and drip heads in the community basin and formed an eagle out of rocks. In Phase 2 of our homes, Volunteers installed address numbers, access panels and plaques, measured and installed caulk baseboards, began fencing, and painted the interior of the homes! Volunteers also worked on Phase 3 by mixing and pouring concrete on the walkways.

Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who supported our veterans during the annual WE Build 2023!

Funder Spotlight

Home Depot

This quarter, we are celebrating our long partnership with Home Depot and Team Home Depot. The San Fernando store, led by Store Manager Kim Cherney, has been a loyal partner for over fourteen years! They have donated materials and volunteer to complete many community projects in our Pacoima, Sylmar, Santa Clarita, and Palmdale neighborhoods. Most recently, they donated appliances, and donated and painted all doors for our Phase 2 Palmdale homes! In addition, we welcomed the Palmdale store, led by Store Manager Dana Hoffman, to our Palmdale project for the first time at our recent WE Build. The store donated cement for Phase 2 fences and Phase 3 walkways, and brought a hard-working team of 20 to help! We are truly thankful for Home Depot, who is dedicated to Doing More for Veterans.
