This is Why We Do What We Do

Meet the Latest Addition to Qualified Listeners:

Through a grant from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, we purchased a fully equipped van to transport Veterans confined to a wheelchair along with caregiver family members. A vehicle has been a long-term goal for our transportation program. In the past, we’ve had to decline requests because we didn’t have the appropriate mode of transportation for disabled Veterans. We are excited to now be able to provide this service! If you need help, call our office at 720-600-0860.

Our van was purchased from Mobility of Denver. They have been providing new and preowned mobility vehicles and conversion accessories since 2014. We are pleased with the quality of their vehicles and services. Mobility of Denver will be at our Vet Connect event on May 11th. Stop by and say hello!

2023 Achievements

In case you missed it last month

NEW: PACT Act Expansion

The PACT Act is a law that expands VA healthcare and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances. This law helps provide generations of Veterans and their survivors with the care and benefits they’ve earned.

As of March 5, 2024, the VA expanded healthcare to millions of Veterans years earlier than planned. For more information, check out The PACT Act And Your VA Benefits | Veterans Affairs or contact your local Veteran Service Office (VSO).

If you need help locating a VSO, please contact us 720-600-0860.

Volunteer Opportunities

We need volunteer drivers to take Veterans and family members to medical appointments and other necessary trips. Your schedule, your availability, mileage reimbursed. We also need help with picking up and delivering donated furniture and household items to Veterans in northern Colorado on an as-needed basis. Click here to learn more about our volunteer program.
