PLAN, DREAM, ACT
On Nov 14th Mustangs will set a goal in a small group setting and write it down. These "dreams with a deadline" will be displayed throughout the school, and represent their "Plan".

On Nov 19th we have a Genius Monday and students will be dressed in attire for their "Dream Job".

On Nov 20th we will take a full length ACT

We have purchased online ACT practice program that will be "calibrated" to each student's need based on the practice ACT that they take.

East students participated in the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority’s Soar (Student’s Obtaining Aviation Resources) Program for High School Students. This program is designed to enhance and promote the advancement of students in the field of aviation.
We are more than great students at T-STEM! We are well-rounded! #preparingthemfortheirfuture
The River Garden
Did you know that East T-STEM was the only high school invited to participate in designing the River Garden?

The River Garden is on Riverside Drive between Court and Jefferson.

Students from Downtown ES, Maxine Smith, and East T-STEM were chosen to design the River Garden!

Teacher Spotlight
Mr. R. Stoecker
My first position as an instructor was in the Navy, where I taught firefighting and other damage control classes on an aircraft carrier. I later graduated from the University of Memphis with a double major in biomedical engineering and math. I used the degree in mathematics to start a teaching career in 2016. After a year, I used that to transition into a position teaching STEM. I love inspiring my students to get excited about applying math to complete STEM projects.
Day of the Dead
The Day of the Dead ( Spanish : Día de Muertos ) is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and by people of Mexican heritage elsewhere. Our students learned that this day focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. Our students participated in Spanish classes.

Thank you to Ms. Diaz, Ms. Lee, and Ms. Spolin
