It was great seeing and exchanging ideas with so many of you at Monday's membership meeting. Our featured speaker was Amy Fischer from the Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network who talked about the organization’s work with the asylum seekers who were bused to DC. Amy provided this link to share ways you can provide support financially, through clothing and supply donations, or volunteer.

We also shared updates on neighborhood issues including liquor licenses we are protesting and a letter we wrote to ANC2B with suggestions for clarifying their proposed rules on decorum. We congratulated a neighboring association, the Dupont East Civic Action Association on their victory in a lawsuit about the development at the Masonic Temple and heard about what may happen next. The Masonic Temple is an issue DCCA worked on extensively in 2018 and 2019. We also had a chance to enjoy some refreshments and meet & mingle with neighbors.

LOOK AHEAD: December's meeting will be held on Monday, December 5th at the beautiful Keegan Theatre! Along with news and updates we will have a speaker from City Wildlife along with Dan Rauch from DOEE to discuss city wildlife.
