⚾ Honoring Jackie Robinson: A Legacy of Service and Courage
We’re proud to support an inspiring Veterans Day event honoring the life and service of Jackie Robinson — a man who broke barriers both on and off the field.
Before becoming a baseball legend, Jackie Robinson wore the uniform of the United States Army, standing for dignity, discipline, and equality long before stepping onto the diamond. His courage in the face of adversity continues to inspire generations of veterans who know what it means to serve with integrity and purpose.
This event, hosted by the Jackie Robinson Museum, will explore how Robinson’s military service connects to the experiences of Black service members and veterans today. The conversation will feature Richard Brookshire, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of the Black Veterans Project; Viviana DeCohen, Commissioner of the New York State Department of Veterans’ Services; and Jeffrey T. Sammons, Professor Emeritus at NYU, led by moderator Bradford William Davis.
We’re honored to stand alongside partners like KeyBank and NY StateVeterans’ Services in celebrating Robinson’s enduring impact.
🎟️. Get your tickets today before the event is sold out! Admission is free for Veterans, Active-Duty Military, and Federal Employees
