The California Department of Housing and Community Development is announcing the release of the Veterans Housing and Homelessness Prevention (VHHP) program
Round 6 Draft Guideline amendments.
The VHHP program guidelines were last updated prior to the issuance of the Round 5 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) in November 2019.
Amendments include:
- Requirements and standards for supportive and transitional housing updated to be consistent with HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program requirements
- Language to protect co-tenants in the case of the veteran moving out or passing away
- and more
