Vibrance equals energetic, resonating. This is what we have for you…..please join us on Friday, July 29 for a light lunch and a WHOO-HOO BU party! The five of us attending will be giving you an inside look at our week-long experience! We will be showing the new B 735 machine which we have on the floor, we will have pictures and stats on the new Kaffe Fassett designed B 770 machines, the new air threader sergers, new hoops, a new Big Book Of…… and more!!! We will be giving out prices to you, taking deposits, reviewing the free gifts from us with machine purchases, all the things you want to know. Help us make this a success, get your orders in and secure your purchases since the Kaffe designed machines are Special Editions and that equals scarcity and no re-orders by Dealers, have a bite to eat, and let us entertain you!! We’ll be open for questions, as always, and we will have some in-store specials to talk about, also. It will be a very informative, light, entertaining afternoon for you. Party starts at noon. Vibrance and Color were the themes for BU. Please sign up so we know how many to expect, and thank you in advance! This event will replace our usual Aug. We are featuring two new BOM’s (blocks of the month) this year, and we’ll be featuring the classroom samples and discussing how/when classes will be. We will have sign-ups for them on Friday also.

This week, Marilyn is back with Rulers Can Quilt classes; the Wed. class is for more advanced students, and she will be going over the planned upcoming projects. If you want to learn how to quilt perfectly beautiful quilts on your domestic machine, don’t miss these monthly classes. A bit of practice with the right instructions and tips brings about the most amazing quilts!

A new class from a new instructor, Lexi Burg, will be given August 4. The class is titled Dimensions Workshop. It’s a very simplified style of “no mistakes possible” dimensional quilting. Lexi is an accomplished fiber artist, and yet another amazing talent. Her first class for you requires two identical panels of your choice, and then she will show you how to bring them to life with thread! It’s a great starting point for dimensional quilting, and she has lots of information to share. Please bring in your panels so you can dive right into the process rather than losing class time picking them out. She has a woodsy scene hanging in the shop to get you interested. You just might have your creation finished by the end of the class, and then you’ll want to make more, I’m sure.  

Shop Hop Passports, $10 each, go on sale August 19, supply is limited but you can buy as many as you want! Shop Hop this year will be held Oct. 7-15, and there will be even more prizes to be given. They will be even better, we think, than past Hops, and that’s hard to imagine! Participating shops and our vendors have really gone all in for you this year, and since we haven’t been able to do the Hop for the last two years, expect lots of enthusiasm all around. More details to follow as Oct. 7 gets closer…..

Rusty Barn Show at WestWorld will take place Sept. 1, 2 and 3 in Scottsdale. We will be there with bells on, in Booths 709-714 with Grace Co. and Q’nique longarm machines, frames of all sizes and the cute Cutie Frame. We hope for a HUGE turnout and want to be sure you stop by for a quick visit, information, and perhaps a purchase. Q’nique makes the best machine, we feel, for the hobbyist, home longarmer, and anyone wanting to quilt their own machine: free motion, laser, pantograph or software assisted. The Cutie frame sits on your tabletop, is very small and will  even allow you to quilt a king sized quilt. The machines range from your own domestic machine, or the Q’nique machines with 15” to the 21” harp area. Grace will have a company representative at our booths, also, and we will have some smaller demonstrations available for you. Come spend the day, or spend all 3 days with us at WestWorld Scottsdale. Showtime is Thursday and Friday 10-5, and Sat. 10-4.
