Boot Camp & Low Impact Cardio with Kathy
Our clubhouse fitness instructor, Kathy, has put together this week's at home fitness videos.

The first video is Low Impact Cardio. A fast paced workout that will get your heart pumping and your feet moving.

Click here to get started on your Low Impact Cardio workout.

The second video of the week offers Strength & Stretch with Kathy. An easier exercise for those looking to stretch their muscles while strengthening them.

Low Impact Dance Work Out

Move and groove and get your heart pumping!

Low impact doesn't mean low intensity so be prepared for a great workout.

Yoga

Try Yoga today to strengthen your muscles and bones. While yoga is a low-impact exercise, it is weight-bearing which means that you have to support your body's weight with every posture, ultimately building muscle.

Cardio

Move your feet and get your heart rate up to this fun cardio workout you can make your own.

As always, safety is key. This exercise maybe more advanced and precaution should be taken when attempting this workout. Be sure to have plenty of water near and take the necessary breaks you need.
Meditation

Relax your mind and body with a short meditation break.

Conscious breathing, like you do during meditation, activates the rest-and-digest part of the nervous system, signaling to our body that it’s safe to be still.

CDC COVID-19 Updates & Need to Knows
Mandatory Self Quarantine
Cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in many states, and some areas are experiencing a community spread of the virus. Crowded traveling settings such as airports are high risks areas and increases your chance of obtaining or spreading the virus.

Florida officials have announced a mandatory 14 day self quarantine for those traveling from COVID-19 “Hot Spots”, such as New York, New Jersey and Connecticut to Florida.

For more travel advisories from the CDC, click here .
In accordance with the CDC, all events have been canceled and scheduling of activities has been put on hold.

Older adults and persons with severe underlying health conditions are considered to be at increased risk of more serious illness after contracting COVID-19. Priority should be given to ensuring the safety of these groups of people, particularly for any mass gatherings that are expected to have a large number of older adults or persons with underlying conditions.

Covenants Friendly Reminders

The Covenants Corner is here to bring you information on the do's and don'ts of Victoria Gardens. Reminders are posted each month to keep you informed!

Pet Reminders & Dog Walking Etiquette

In our neighborhood there are easement areas and common areas that make great dog walking places. This is the grass area that is between the street and the sidewalk. This is the only area you should allow your dog to roam and go potty. Stay off of private property! Be considerate of flowerbeds, bushes, etc.

Below are a few important reminders when walking your dog.

  • Always Use a Leash: All dogs should be walked on a leash. While you may believe your dog is capable of going for a walk without one, you can never be too safe. Protect your dog and yourself by ensuring the leash is on and fastened correctly.

  • Clean Up: There are several dog waste disposal trash bags and cans throughout the community. Be sure to clean up your dogs waste and dispose of the bag in one of the community trash bins.

P lease be advised that continuous barking is considered a noise nuisance which prevents quiet enjoyment, comfort or serenity in the community. Notices will be issued to homeowners for non-compliance. Dogs and Cats must be on a leash when outside of the home. No animal is permitted to roam around the community without their owners. You must clean up after your pets when walking throughout the community and on your lots.

Conservation/Preserve Maintenance

Please remember the conservation/ preserve areas are not part of homeowner property and any clearing, mowing, planting, etc. is strictly prohibited. We will soon begin our annual spring maintenance of the conservation/ preserve areas and we will send additional information once dates are confirmed.
