Skate Party Trip This Friday?

NO STUDENT WILL BE LEFT BEHIND!

All Middle and High School students will be transported to the Kings' Royal back-to-school skate party at Kate's Skating Rink in Gastonia. It'll be lots of fun, fellowship and meeting of new classmates.

The good news is this excursion will be held during school hours.

The bus will leave the MS/HS campus at 10 a.m., Sept. 2 and return at 2 p.m. Don't forget to bring your own lunch and wear your SPIRIT shirts and loose-fitting sweat pants!

Other games and snacks may be available for purchase.

Parents, If you haven't submitted your $15 fee per child and permission slip, return them to the office NOW. This is the last hoorah before school closes Sept. 5 and 6 for Labor Day!

Kings Enjoy Huge Conquest!

The Kings returned to the Gridiron with a huge win, defeating the Cabarrus Stallions 56-0. Kings received touchdowns from several players. Our touchdowns were scored by Gavin Thompson (Junior ), Malcom Adams (Sophomore ), Samej Robinson (Freshman ), Jarvis Heath (Senior), Dekhari Belo (Junior), and Ethan Caldwell (Sophomore ).

Head Football Coach Andre White gave this account of the Kings’ great victory. “We are coming together as a team," said Coach White. "We just started practicing as a whole team two weeks ago. Most football student athletes are new to Victory and getting adjusted to the classroom as well as the playbook," he said. "We have so much more work to do before we can really say we are back. But I am proud of all the guys' efforts.”

Our team has a bye this week to prepare for a huge away game against Hickory Grove Christian on Friday, September 9. The next Home game is 7 p.m., Thursday, September 15. Go Kings!

VOLUNTEER for 7 PM SEPT. 15th FOOTBALL GAME

First shift volunteers are responsible for setting up. Second shift volunteers are responsible for breaking down and cleaning up.

Volunteers and their school-aged children receive free admission. Only volunteers scheduled to work the game will receive a free meal. Spouses and other family members must pay admission.
