See You at the Pole 🙏🇺🇸

Tomorrow at 7:30 am

Come with your bible, dress your best, and meet us at the flag pole as we pray for our nation and all the world. Parents, please join us for coffee and pastries afterward!

Thank you for attending the Parent Awareness Night and Lunch & Learn last week. We so enjoyed your presence! We hope to see you at other school events in the future.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Friday, October 6th, officially ends the first quarter. Parent/Teacher Conferences for Preschool, Elementary, Middle, and High School will be held on Friday, October 6th. It is our desire, if possible, that both parents be present for the conference. These conferences are essential to your child’s progress, and we appreciate your making them a priority.

Conferences will last no longer than 20 minutes and are required before report cards are issued. Please respond via email or to each child’s homeroom teacher by Friday, September 29th.

Thank you for your continued support!

All students must have a working device. Students in grades 8-10 who are enrolled in Algebra 1 and above are also eligible to take the test.

If you desire for your child to test, please contact Mrs. Faulkner via email [email protected] or phone at 704-644-1183 by Friday, September 29th. We are needing to pre-register this year, so no one will be able to sign up later. We strongly recommend that all students test. Please take advantage of these in-house opportunities.

#VCCSKINGS SOAR!

A few of our 4th-grade students represented VCCS at the "Paint the Turtle" art contest on Monday, September 18 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway STEAM event. Students really enjoyed the experience and we give God all the glory for the gifts and talents He has instilled in our young people!

In continued support of our VCCS Kings, vote (as many times as you want 😉) for our school's turtle and share the link with family, friends, and coworkers for them to vote as well.

The winning turtle will be announced during the Charlotte Motor Speedway STEAM EXPO on Friday, Oct. 6 and the winning class will receive a special prize at the EXPO! All turtles will remain on the track and be featured on television throughout the Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 race weekend!

Voting ends at 5 pm on October 2nd.
