“I Will Bless Those Who Bless Israel”

"Last week’s e-blast was completed prior to Hamas’ attack on the nation of Israel. After hearing of the atrocities, Mrs. Dorsey and I began texting and discussing the importance of teaching the children the backstory of God’s people and their nation.

My search led me to the article below. It tells of God’s history with the nation and what happens to those who embrace and oppose her. I encourage everyone to review the article and the other resources/information for your general knowledge. Dive in and lead your students in discovering God’s love for His people and us who have been engrafted into the family."

Should Christians Celebrate Halloween?

"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16

Since the Bible doesn't address Halloween, many Christians liken the celebration to other moments where the Bible discusses witchcraft, sacrifice, and worldly behaviors. The Bible contains various teachings on how to behave or interact with the world's troubling celebrations. The following are resources for you to view and share.
