In-Person Nevada AAP Walk with a Doc to Resume in August
The wait is finally over!

Now that all children, 6 months of age and older, can get vaccinated against COVID-19, the Nevada AAP is THRILLED to announce that we will resume our in-person Walk with a Doc events!

We expect all participants to be up-to-date on all available vaccines and will require walkers to follow venue masking rules.

Our next in-person walk for the Las Vegas community will be held on Sunday, August 14 at 10 am at the Mount Charleston Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway. In the hot summer months, we meet on Mount Charleston to escape the heat of the Las Vegas Valley. It's a bit of a drive, but worth it for the cooler temperatures and amazing views. We will send an email in a week or so with more details and registration information for our free, family-friendly event.

Additionally, we are planning an in-person Walk with a Doc for the Reno community on Saturday, September 17 We will share more details about this event soon.

In the meantime, utilize these helpful pages from the American Academy of Pediatrics and get your whole family up-to-date on vaccinations so that you can participate safely!
