"If you're in Middlesex County, you're pretty much in the capital of biotechnology for the world," said Patrick Rafter, a Minuteman Biotechnology instructor. "There is more biotech per capita in this area than any other place. This is a great opportunity for students to learn in a field that they can get a job in immediately afterward, or that they can pursue further study for [an advanced] job in the field. ... These jobs are in high demand."
