Other Worship & Prayer Resources
A note from Bishop Jennifer
If anyone had told me a month ago that most of our congregations would be able, within a week's notice, to move their worship to livestream platforms, to set up phone trees and contact every member of their congregation, to gather members for Bible Study and prayer on Zoom and other apps -- I would not have believed it.

And yet, here we are. An unexpected blessing of the past week has been witnessing the reality that while Episcopalians may not like change -- and may rebel over the slightest changes in worship or furniture placement -- when the change is radical and unavoidable: we roll with it.

Well done, good and faithful servants.

The Diocese is going to highlight one English and one Spanish livestreamed service each Sunday. This Sunday, those services will be at 8:00 a.m. in Spanish from St. Mark's, Mesa  and at 10:15 a.m. St Barnabas on the Desert, Scottsdale

Forward Movement has Additional Resources for members of your congregations to find prayer and Christian formation while they are at home.
Washington National Cathedral Daily Online Worship

Even though you may not be able to come to the Cathedral, we are fully committed to bringing our “house of prayer for all people” to you. All are welcome to take part in our daily online services: a morning and evening service of prayer Monday–Saturday, and a Sunday Holy Eucharist. We also invite you to submit prayer requests for yourself, those you love, and the world.
Here's How We Can Keep St. Luke's Food Pantry Open
Many of you have asked how you can help … please read on.

St. Luke’s Food Pantry has already packaged a number of 40-pound boxes of food from the items donated by the Latter Day Saints Church in November and the items currently available in the pantry.  These boxes will be placed curbside as clients arrive. The Food Pantry will begin disbursing these boxes this Friday, March 27th, from 9:00 am to Noon. We will strive to keep the Food Pantry operational as long as we have staples to pack and share. There is no further need for additional packers or distributers at this time.

Attached is a “Much Needed List of Food Items”. These needed items will greatly assist the Food Pantry in offering complete meals made from different combinations of all the items.

If so inclined you are welcome to pick up a few of these items while out shopping for yourselves and bring your food items to the church on any Thursday between 1:00 and 3:00 PM.  For those who are not shopping but would like to give a monetary donation, you can mail your check to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, with “Food Pantry” written in the memo section. These funds will be placed in a separate account for the Food Pantry and used as needed. A third opportunity is to keep the Food Pantry clients and each other in your prayers for peace and well-being.

Father Pierre-Henre’ does remind everyone that St. Luke’s remains under complete lockdown at this time.  Please do not bring items other than on Thursdays, between 1:00 and 3:00 PM, as no one will be available to bring them inside.

Thanking you greatly for your willingness to help,
Deborah Delmastro
