Viera Charter School Dedication & Ribbon Cutting

On August 21st, the Viera Charter School (VCS) dedication ceremony was covered live on Facebook by Space Coast Daily. Community leaders, VCS students, parents, and staff came together to celebrate the re-opening of a more than 105k square foot facility. RUSH Construction, Inc. served as the design-builder for the recently completed expansion and remodel of the Viera Charter School Campus addition. The new 46,700 square foot expansion consists of a 2-story building that includes 24 classrooms, as well as a gymnatorium and a new cafeteria.
RUSH Facilities Adds Viera Charter School as a Custodial Division Client
RUSH is pleased to announce that the RUSH Facilities’ Custodial Division will continue to supply environmental cleaning and disinfection services for both the remodeled and new facilities at Viera Charter School.
[VIDEO] RUSH Marine: Cruise Terminal 8 & 10 Waterside Modifications - Mono Pipe Pile Drive
RUSH Marine was awarded the Waterside Modifications Project at the Disney Cruise Terminal CT 8 and Cruise Terminal 10 as the General Contractor. It was a historical day for RUSH Marine and the RUSH Family as these two pipe piles are the largest piles that RUSH has ever driven. Each of the two Mono Pipe Piles are 109 ft long, 8 ft in diameter, and weighs 140,000 pounds each. These two mono pile dolphin structures are being installed as part of the new mooring system for all of the Disney Cruise Ships utilizing the CT 8 terminal.  
Meet David Alan Pooley, Project Superintendent at RUSH Construction, Inc.
David Alan Pooley has been a project superintendent at RUSH Construction, Inc. since July 2018, and recently worked diligently to oversee the timely completion of the Viera Charter School expansion and renovation project.

With extensive heavy commercial and industrial construction experience, David has been in the industry since 1981. “RUSH Construction has an outstanding reputation, and I spent a number of years in the past working with four of the original RUSH team,” says Pooley. “I am very passionate about building, and am excited to put my skills to work with the professional team at RUSH.”

A 4th generation Brevard county resident, David and his family live in Melbourne, Florida. He loves spending time outdoors, and enjoys boating, riding, fishing and racing.
