A.J. Johns Inc. to receive the WILLIAM H. FEATHER SAFETY AWARD presented by National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA).

Las Vegas, NV (March 13th, 2023) 


A.J. Johns, Inc, will receive the NUCA Nationals highest Safety Award. The William H. Feather Award for Safety Performance in 2022. Only five companies nationwide are selected to receive this award. This prestigious award was created to honor the contributions of the founding Chairman of NUCA’s Safety Committee, William H. Feather, and to recognize excellent safety commitments demonstrated by other NUCA members.

This new LMS will change the way you schedule your classes!

SafeTapp App - Mobile LMS

With SafeTapp, you can log into your account using your BIStrainer username and password and download all your training certificates. Once downloaded to the app, your certificates will be available to you offline. SafeTapp also provides the ability to upload historical training records, including copies of your certificates, directly into your account using your mobile device so that these training records will sync with your BIStrainer account.

EM-385

Fall Protection Competent Person Training

March 8th-10th, 2023

EM 385-1-1 is the Engineer’s Manual released by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The manual outlines the health and safety standards you must follow when working on military projects.

 

Our 24-Hour EM 385-1-1 training course instructs you on how to ensure the safest construction site possible. You will learn how to:

 

Make Site Health and Safety Officers (SSHOs) aware of unsafe worksite conditions Properly prepare site-specific Accident Prevention Plans (APP) Prepare Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) forms. You will also understand how to conduct site personnel training, create incident response reports, perform jobsite auditing, and initiate hazard communication.

 

Who Should Take 24-Hour EM 385-1-1 Training? This training was designed for employees and contractors, such as managers, supervisors and team leads, who are working on military projects and need to comply with EM 385-1-1 regulations.

Class Spotlight, you now will be able to see the spotlighted class on the home page.

Featured Members will now be displayed on the bottom of the home page.


A calendar tab has been added to our main menu under EHS and our home page. You will be able to view and schedule any of the available public classes.


Request classes that are not yet scheduled through the class calendar. This feature will give the user more control over scheduling classes and will keep track of your training certificates. This can be found on the calendar or the safety training services page.


Membership tiers have been updated and can be now be paid online. A subscription feature has also been added, you can now set up reoccurring membership payments.


An Events page has been added to the main menu. Now you can stay up to date with our upcoming events.
