This past weekend, Tri-Rivers Baptist Area hosted a Youth Workers Retreat.  It was a wonderful time of encouragement, education and edification as youth workers were taught valuable resources in reaching youth for the Lord.  Special thanks to Kevin Miles regional coordinator and Rick Eubanks state coordinator for National Network of Youth Ministries for their teaching and the many resources provided.  Special appreciation also goes out to chef Ray Storms for the amazing meals and Talon Keeney for leading us in worship.
On Sunday, I was honored to preach at Community Baptist Church in Dublin and that afternoon I meet with several ministers wives in planning the Minister's Wife Retreat scheduled for July 30-31.  Monday, I was blessed to attend a BSM Leadership meeting hosted at the BSM Building on the Tarleton Campus in Stephenville.  On Tuesday, I will be meeting with the BGCT New Church Start representative for our area assisting our new church starts.  The remainder of the week, I will be preparing for the Pastor's Only Retreat hosted at the Tri-Rivers Retreat Center this weekend and meeting the daily needs of our Area Churches.
This Sunday, I will be worshiping and preaching at Adamsville Baptist Church followed by attending the Lampasas Baptist Association Leadership Meeting that afternoon hosted by FBC Lampasas and that evening I will be attending the BSM Lead Team Banquet hosted by Cowboy Church of Erath County.
The Tri-Rivers Retreat Center continues to serve our Area Churches and multiple ministries in providing a place to gather to be strengthen in the Lord.  Remember there is no cost to use your Tri-Rivers Retreat Center because of your churches ongoing support. Make your reservations at

Donation of Church Building
First Baptist Church of Dublin, Texas acquired an old First Christian Church many years ago and it is/was scheduled for demolition to make room for the expansion of our preschool play yard and future play ground equipment. They recently found out the church was rebuilt in 1958 using some of the salvaged lumber, hardware and stained glass from the original church back in 1889. Wanting to preserve its history and save it from demolition, they are seeking to donated it to be moved at the new owner's expense.
The main structure is approximately 43' x 60' and on pier and beam, making it easier to move. There is another portion on pier and beam available if interested. Part of the structure was bricked in 1977 which means there's likely wood siding underneath if the brick were to be removed. Water and gas have already been cut off, but power is still hooked up. If anyone is interested, it can be viewed by appointment only.
Contact FBC Dublin Office at (254) 445-2435 to schedule an appointment.
Tri-Rivers Baptist Area is partnering with Restoration Advocates, Inc. as we continue to minister to victims of Domestic Violence.

Restoration Advocates exists to provide the care and support necessary for women, and their dependent children, who are victims of domestic violence and other dangers that place them at risk of life or physical harm and/or deprive them of their overall safety and sense of well-being.  Our mission is for every woman in an unsafe home to have the confidence, as well as the resources, to independently support herself and her children.
To that end, we have established a safe haven called Restoration Place, where survivors of family violence can live in safety as they restore their lives to health and happiness.  Restoration Place provides emergency housing for women and children in crisis and we also offer transitional housing for a period of up to two years if that is needed for the family to be fully independent and self-supporting.  Learn More HERE
