More than $575,000 was awarded in cash bonuses to our Gold Rewards members this past December, which is the highest amount we've ever paid out. In addition to the more than $3.6 million in annual cash bonuses, we've returned over $1.3 million in ATM rebates to our Gold Rewards members since 2010. The generosity of our members in 2018 ignited a spark amongst our Board of Directors, resulting in a unanimous decision to nearly double our initial "$100,000 in 100 Days" Matching Gifts commitment.

We received more than 1,000 donation requests from our members, ranging from $25 to $500, and are proud to have been able to match $194,525 in donations from our members. Combined, Charter Oak and its members donated $389,050 and provided assistance to 345 non-profits.

Since 2016, when we first introduced our Matching Gifts program, nearly $790,000 has been donated to charities and non-profit groups in eastern Connecticut and far beyond.

We will award a total of $90,000 in college scholarships this spring to 45 community-minded students who have made an effort to contribute or improve their local community. The odds of winning are in your favor! At least one $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to one student at each high school in New London and Windham counties with an enrollment of 100 or more students that submits an application. (Current college students are also eligible to apply.)
