Town Administrator's E-Brief

From Town Administrator, Eric DeMoura           Town of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

July 2016
Dear Mount Pleasant residents and business owners,

I hope you and your family are enjoying the summertime here in Mount Pleasant. On July 1st we kicked off our new fiscal year and we are already off to a great start. Under the leadership of Mayor Page and Town Council and the direction of our staff, I'm pleased to confirm that there is no tax increase for this year. With this budget, we maintain our strong financial position and we have dedicated funding for important community improvements including road and stormwater projects. Through the budget process, Town Council established the priorities for this year, which include: continued growth management and community outreach efforts, as well as infrastructure improvements and quality of life preservation. Every resident and business owner plays a role in making Mount Pleasant the great community that it is and we, with your support, look forward to the continued success of our town.

There are several upcoming meetings and events scheduled for August, so I invite you to sign up to our Notify Me module and stay updated on the latest Town news, projects, and events.
