Vigil for Israel
Tuesday, October 10th, 7:00 p.m.
Lawrence Family JCC
Transportation to and from:
To make getting there and parking easier, we are joining with our friends at Temple Emanu-El and hiring buses to take us to the Vigil. If you wish to ride with us, please sign up here by 4:00 p.m. today and plan to be at the TEE parking lot no later than 6:00 p.m.
In coordination with the Federation and community partners, the JCC will host a vigil in support of Israel on the field at the Lawrence Family JCC, 4126 Executive Drive, La Jolla, CA 92037.
Now is our moment to stand in solidarity as a community that cares. Israel needs our support and we need each other. Please come together as one community and show the world our strength and commitment to Jewish life in Israel and across the globe.
This is a standing event. A limited number of chairs will be available for those with disabilities who are unable to stand for the duration of the program. A limited number of paved paths are available around the field for wheelchair access. Please wear blue and white to show solidarity with Israel.
Those who can, contribute to the Israel Emergency Fund below. Your support will greatly aid in our collective efforts.
The safety of our community members is paramount. The San Diego Police Department is treating this gathering as a high-profile security event. There will be a substantial police presence to ensure our collective safety. We are continuously monitoring the situation in close collaboration with the Secure Community Network and local and federal law enforcement agencies.
