All home athletic tickets may be purchased online by visiting
www.vikenation.org/tickets. The Princeton Athletic Department offers Sports Passes for students, adults, and families. We encourage you to take advantage of this ticket option to save you money all school year. Passes are valid for all 7-12 HOME regular season contests during the entire school year.

Highlights from 8/15 to 8/21 | |

The Princeton boys varsity soccer team defeated the Edgewood Cougars 4-0 on Saturday, August 20th, at Edgewood High School. The Vikings improved their record to
1-1 overall.
After a weather delay, Princeton's offense scored quickly. The Vikings found the back of the net three times in the first 25 minutes of play.
Aiden Billiter and Emanual Harris each scored a pair of goals in the win. Will Oliver added two assists, and Parker Evans and Andres Salinas were each credited with an assist.
Edwin Barrera and the Vikings' defense earned their first clean sheet of the season. Barrera recorded 2 saves in goal.
The Vikings return to the pitch on Saturday, August 27th, as they host the Milford Eagles. Kick-off is slated for 9:00 AM JV and 11:00 AM Varsity. Game day tickets are available at www.vikenation.org/tickets.

The Princeton girls varsity tennis team defeated Colerain 5-0 in their league opener on Thursday, August 18th at Colerain High School. The Vikings finish the week with a 2-1 record and are currently 3-2 on the season.
Paris Harris won her 1st Singles match 6-1, 6-1 to improve to 4-1. At 2nd Singles, Amanda Tulloss won 6-0, 6-0 to remain unbeaten (5-0). Adiaya Hammond improved to 2-2 at 3rd Singles after winning her court 6-7, 6-1, and 10-7.
In doubles competition, 1st Doubles duo of Lilli Edmiston / Annie Schmahl won 6-1, 7-5 to improve to 1-2 during competition. Leah Bracknell / Paytyn DePeel completed the sweep with a come from behind win, 1-6, 6-3, and 6-4.

The Princeton High School cross country program traveled to Obetz, Ohio to compete at the OHSAA Early Season Invitational on Saturday, August 20th.
Maddie Slagle led the girls team with a 231st finish with a time of 23:37.80. Emily Johnson finished the 5000 meter run in a time of 24:25.10 to place 277th overall.
Melanie Kessler posted a 25:25.80 mark to finish 314th, and Makenna Carrigan finished 252nd overall with a time of 26:33.00.
On the boys side, Declan McGrath led the Vikings with a 19:06.90 mark to finish 208th overall.
Andrew Dunlap and Donovan Kemp ran times of 21:22.20 and 22:06.70 respectively to finish 341st and 357th.
Grant Smith completed the 5000 meter run in 23:40.20 to place 371st overall.

The Princeton boys water polo team won four games at the Mason Invitational this past weekend to improve their season record to 4-5 overall.
The Vikings offense scored 48 goals on 46 assists over the six-game invitational.
Carson McDaniel led the charge with 26 goals!
The Princeton boys varsity water polo team defeated St. Xavier High School 13-12 on Tuesday, August 23rd at St. Xavier High School.
Trevor Ehlerding led the Vikings scoring with 4 goals. Carson McDaniel added 3 goals.
Jake Culter, Dillon Pommering, and Caleb Thompson each scored a pair of goals in the win.
Princeton's offense dished out 12 assists on 13 goals. Matthew Hardman finished with a team-high 6 assists.
Defensively, Jack McDaniel recorded 13 blocks. The defense had 9 steals.
Princeton (5-5) travels to Milford on Thursday, August 25th.

The Princeton High School girls golf team battled the Mercy McAuley Wolves in a dual match at Indian Ridge Golf Course on Monday, August 22nd.
The Lady Vikings finished the 9-hole match with a 240-team score.
London Harris shot a team-low 56. Sophi Roberts scored a 59.
Alexis Huwel and Ariana Watson finished the afternoon scoring 62 and 63, respectively.
Princeton is back in action on Tuesday, August 23rd, against Lakota West at Glenview Golf Course. The two teams will tee the ball off at 3:00 PM.

The Princeton High School boys golf team traveled to Indian Ridge Golf Course to take on the Hamilton Big Blue on Monday, August 22nd. The Vikings finished the afternoon with a 212-team score.
Scott Lawson led the team with a 50. Kai Hannah scored a 51, and Sam Maloney finished the afternoon with a 54.
Sammy Roberts posted a 57, and Veer Patel and Maverick Barnette returned back to the clubhouse with a 60 and 65, respectively.
The Princeton varsity golf team hosted the Mason Comets on Thursday, August 18th, at Glenview Golf Course. The Vikings shot 218 as a team. Princeton is averaging a 224 team score through 45 holes of competition.
Scott Lawson led the team with a 49. Sammy Roberts posted a 54. Kai Hannah fired a 56, and Jamey Spears finished the afternoon shooting a 59.
The Princeton boys varsity golf team hosted the Norwood Warriors on Tuesday, August 16th, at Sharon Woods. The Vikings fired a 211 to win the match.
Scott Lawson was Medalist with a 47. He currently has a 50 average through 36 holes.
Jamey Spears and Jack Reynolds finished the front 9-course with a 52 and 53, respectively. Miles Reynolds shot a 59.

Varsity Football
The Vikings defeated the Anderson Raptors 61-36 to open up the regular season. Princeton’s offense accumulated 587 total yards. Quarterback RJ West accounted for 5 total touchdowns. He passed for 209 yards (3 TD’s) and rushed for 132 yards (2 TD’s).
Riley Woods led the receiving core with 117 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Defensively, Princeton forced 5 turnovers and limited the Raptors to just 9-of-19 on third down conversions.
Breeon Ishmail had 2 interceptions, including a pick-6!
Journey Cain-Evans and Ishmail led the charge with 10 total tackles. Cain-Evans had 3.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks.
The Vikings’ kicking game finished 7-of-9 on extra point attempts.

Congratulations to RJ West, Paris Harris, Jamey Spears, and Aiden Billiter on receiving Greater Miami Conference Athlete of the Week honors.
RJ West is a senior on the football team. He was responsible for 5 touchdowns in the Vikings 61-36 victory over Anderson. West passed for 209 yards and 3 touchdowns, and rushed for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Paris Harris is a senior on the girls tennis team. She has won 4 consecutive matches in straight sets at 1st Singles competition.
Jamey Spears is a senior on the golf team. He shot a 52 at Sharon Woods to help the Vikings defeat Norwood.
Aiden Billiter is a senior on the boys soccer team. He scored 2 goals in the team's 4-0 road win against Edgewood.

Jersey Mike’s Above and Beyond Athletes of the Week
Congratulations to Makenna Carrigan, Veer Patel, Brooklyn Leach, and Carson McDaniel on being named Jersey Mike's Above and Beyond Athlete of the Week honors.
Makenna Carrigan does a great job as a leader of our cross country program. She is a person who we can count on to lead the younger runners, and be an excellent role model.
Veer Patel is always excited for practice and is always asking how he can get better. He practices outside of organized team practice and is a huge asset to the team.
Brooklyn Leach is the captain of the volleyball team. She is providing outstanding leadership for the young team.
Carson McDaniel led the Vikings Water Polo team in the Mason Invitational with 26 goals. He added 5 steals and 4 assists in an impressive tournament.

The Princeton Athletics Hall of Fame Committee and Athletic Department are pleased to announce the inductees of the 16th Class into the Athletics Hall of Fame.
The individual inductees include Natalie Gaenge (‘84), Ariana Wilson (‘97), Gary Nagel (‘80), and Shaun Moss (‘90).
In addition, the Committee is thrilled to induct two state championship teams, the 1981 Boys Water Polo Team, and the 1989 Girls Track Team.
This year’s inductee class also includes Ron Carpenter (‘88) (Distinguished Alumni), Dan Moody (Coach), Nancy Roy (Lifetime Achievement Award), and Pat Walden (Lifetime Achievement Award).
The Hall of Fame celebration will kick off during halftime of the Middletown vs. Princeton Varsity Football Game, concluding with the inductees' ceremony on Saturday, October 8th. Further details of this event will be forthcoming.
