Greater Miami Conference

Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to Caeley Goins, Gio Vitti, Brooklyn Leach, and Donya Borden on receiving Greater Miami Conference Athlete of the Week honors.

 

Caeley Goins is a senior on the volleyball team. Last week, she recorded 27 kills, 4 blocks, 16 digs, and 6 service aces.

 

Gio Vitti is a senior on the boys soccer team. He scored 1 goal and had 3 assists in games against Hamilton and Springboro.

 

Brooklyn Leach is a senior on the volleyball team. She led the Vikings with 50 assists, 20 digs, and 5 kills last week.

 

Donya Borden is a senior on the football team. In the team's win against Middletown, he had 7 tackles (3 solos) and 1.5 tackles for loss.

Tournament Information

Cross Country

The Princeton High School cross country program will race at the Greater Miami Conference Championships on Saturday, October 15th, at Voice of America Park. 

 

The girls varsity race will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the boys varsity race at 10:30 AM.

 

Tickets will be sold online only by visiting https://www.gmcsports.com/ticketBoxOffice.aspx.

Girls Soccer

The Princeton Lady Vikings varsity team received the 27th seed at the Southwest District Girls Sectional Tournament seed meeting. Princeton will play the winner of #3 Seton vs. #28 Hamilton on Saturday, October 22nd.

 

Game day tickets will be made available online by visiting www.ohsaa.org/tickets.

Boys Soccer

The Princeton boys varsity soccer team was awarded the 17th seed in the Southwest District Sectional Tournament. The Vikings will play #16 Colerain on Monday, October 17th at Colerain High School.

 

Princeton defeated Colerain 1-0 in their matchup early in the Fall season. Senior Emanuel Harris scored the lone goal, and Edwin Barrera recorded 4 saves in the shutout.

Girls Volleyball

The Princeton Lady Vikings varsity volleyball team received the #24 seed for the Southwest District Sectional Volleyball Tournament. 

 

Princeton will travel to #22 Western Brown on Wednesday, October 19th at 7:00 PM. Game day tickets will be made available online by visiting www.ohsaa.org/tickets.

Water Polo

Princeton High School will be the host site for the Boys and Girls Regional Water Polo Tournament beginning Monday, October 17th, and will conclude on Saturday, October 22nd. Game tickets will be available online by visiting www.vikenation.org/tickets.

Girls Tennis

Girls Tennis


The Princeton Lady Vikings varsity tennis team finished in second place at the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Coaches Association Coaches Classic that was hosted by Princeton. The Lady Vikings concluded the season 6th in the Greater Miami Conference.

Football

The Princeton Vikings defeated the Middletown Middies 42-14 on Friday, October 7th. The Vikings improve to 7-1 overall and 6-1 in the Greater Miami Conference.


Princeton’s offense was dominant, finishing the game with 419 total yards. RJ West rushed for 3 touchdowns. He finished the game with 238 all-purpose yards.


Deandre Rutherford rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown, and Teryntino Brown-Freeman added 54 rushing yards and a touchdown.


Jordan Houston led the receiving core with 4 catches for 45 yards and a touchdown.


Princeton’s defense yielded just 62 total yards of offense. Donya Borden led the team with 7 total tackles. Travis Lawrence, Solomon Farrell, Khy’Lek Jarrett, and Logan Brown each recorded a sack in the win.


Peyton Russia and Kevin Jordan each recorded fumble recoveries.


Princeton currently ranks first in the league with 157.9 yards per game in the conference.


The Vikings travel to Sycamore on Friday, October 14th.

PCMS Cheerleading - 

Basketball Cheer Tryouts are right around the corner. The program will hold an informational meeting on October 24th at 6:00 PM in the High School Grid. There will be two days of clinics (10/25-26) with Open Gym on October 27th. Tryouts will take place October 29th from 9:00 - Noon.

PCMS Boys Soccer -

Princeton overcame a 0-2 deficit to earn the draw against Spring Valley Academy on Monday evening. Alan Vargas took advantage of a penalty kick that found the back of the net for the first goal for the Vikings. In the game's closing seconds, Nate Messer played a beautiful ball to Jameson Holloway’s head. Alan Vargas cleaned up the deflection for the goal.


Princeton enters the tournament next week as the #5 seed and will host Seven Hills on Monday, October 17th, at 5:00 PM.

PCMS Girls Soccer -

The Lady Vikings picked up their 9th win on the season, defeating CHCA 2-1. Kamryn Lowe and Olivia Leung scored.


Princeton travels to Seven Hills on Wednesday to finish their regular season schedule. 


The Lady Vikings received the #2 seed in the upcoming tournament. They will play on Thursday, October 20th, at Walnut Hills at 6:15 PM.

PCMS Volleyball - 

The Lady Vikings concluded their season in the second round of the Greater Miami Conference Tournament. Princeton played great throughout the year, and put together multiple winning streaks.

PCMS Football & Cheer

The Vikings concluded the season on Monday under the lights against Mason. The 7th Graders won their game to finish 7-1 on the season. The 8th Grade team lost in a very competitive game. Thank you to all the student-athletes for working hard and giving 100% effort during the season. The Cheerleaders added great support at every game. Go Vikings!

PCMS Cross Country - 

Princeton had a great race at the Greater Miami Conference Championships on Monday at Lakota Plains.


PR’s were made by Alan Marroquin Vazquez, Cherif Sore, Quinn Baker, Allie Rengering, and Zoey Scott!

Upcoming Seasons

Swim Team Meeting -

There will be an informational meeting for students interested in joining the swim team on Thursday, October 20th, after school. The meeting will be held in the DEN (media center/library).

Upcoming Girls Basketball Tryouts -

7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball Tryouts will be held on Saturday, October 22nd. 7th Grade basketball tryouts will be held from 10:00 am to Noon in the Arena. The 8th Grade basketball tryouts will be held from Noon to 2:00 PM in the Arena.

Boys Basketball Open Gyms -

Princeton Basketball open gyms for 7th and 8th Grade will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 to 6:30 PM.

Wrestling -

Interested student-athletes should register on Final Forms and contact Coach Davis at [email protected]. The first practice will be Monday, November 14th, after school.
