Congratulations to Caeley Goins, Riley Woods, Kai Hannah, and Sophi Roberts on receiving Greater Miami Conference Athlete of the Week honors.
Caeley Goins is a senior on the girls volleyball team. She recorded 11 kills in both the Colerain and Edgewood matches.
Riley Woods is a senior on the football team. He recorded 195 total yards in the team's win over Lakota East. Riley rushed for 123 yards on 2 attempts and had 2 catches for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Kai Hannah is a junior on the golf team. He shot a season-low 48 against Fairfield at Glenview.
Sophi Roberts is a junior on the golf team. She shot a personal best 57 at Glenview in the team's tri-match with Oak Hills and Colerain.

Congratulations to Donovan Kemp, Makenna Carrigan, Emma Tracey, Emanuel Harris, and Trevor Ehlerding on receiving Jersey Mike's Above and Beyond Athlete of the Week honors.
Donovan Kemp is having a great season in cross country. He has run lifetime Personal Records (PRs) in both races.
Makenna Carrigan is a great leader in the cross country program. She organizes team activities and goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and part of the team.
Emma Tracey is an outstanding leader on the girls soccer team. She is a captain and leads the Vikings' defense.
Emanuel Harris is a member of the boys soccer team. He scored the winning goal against Colerain on Thursday.
Trevor Ehlerding is a senior on the boys water polo program. He scored 6 goals and 3 assists against Walnut Hills.

The Princeton girls tennis team is currently 5-4 overall, and 3-2 in the Greater Miami Conference. Amanda Tulloss currently ranks second in the league with 8 wins at 2nd Singles. Princeton hosts Mount Notre Dame on Wednesday and Lakota East on Thursday. | | |

The Lady Vikings shot a 235 on Thursday at Glenview against Colerain and Oak Hills.
London Harris shot a team-low 49. Sophi Roberts scored her season-best round during the match.

The Vikings fired a 197 against Fairfield on Thursday at Glenview. It marked the team’s lowest score on the season thus far. Kai Hannah and Scott Lawson each scored a 48. Jamey Spears shot a 50, and Jack Reynolds finished with a 51. | |

Princeton finished last week with a 1-0-1 record. Delaney Benjamin scored the game-winning goal with under three minutes to go against Wilmington on Tuesday, August 30th.
The Lady Vikings tied Colerain 1-1 in their conference opener on Thursday, September 1st.
Princeton travels to Goshen (9/6) and Middletown (9/8) this week, before hosting Kings on Saturday at 2:00 & 4:00 PM.

The Princeton Vikings defeated Colerain 1-0 on Thursday, September 1st to improve their record to 2-2-0 overall. Emanuel Harris had the game-winning goal.
The Vikings will host three consecutive league matches beginning with Middletown on Thursday.

Princeton Cross Country travels to Corwin-Nixon Park to compete at the Mason Invitational on Saturday.
This is the 48th Annual Mason Cross Country Invitational and the course features two creek crossings and a steep, mulch-covered hill. Nearly a mile of the race is on wooded trails.

The Lady Vikings finished 1-2 during the week’s schedule. The Vikings' match win came on Monday, August 29th against Yellow Springs. Princeton (2-4, 0-1) hosts Woodward on Wednesday, followed by Middletown on Thursday evening. | |

The Princeton High School boys varsity water polo team won their home opener against Walnut Hills, 20-11. The Vikings have won 9 consecutive games and are currently 11-5 on the season.
Princeton continued to have a balanced attack on offense, with 7 different players scoring in the game. Trevor Ehlerding led all scorers with 6 goals.
Carson McDaniel and Jack McDaniel scored 5 and 3 goals, respectively. Jake Culter and Gavin Howell each scored a pair of goals.
Matthew Hardman dished out 5 of the team’s 17 assists. Jack McDaniel and Trevor Ehlerding recorded 4 and 3 assists.
Defensively, Jack McDaniel finished with 9 blocks. Caleb Thompson added 5 blocks and 2 steals. Princeton finished the night with 9 steals.
Princeton returns to action on Wednesday, September 7th, against Sycamore.

The Princeton girls varsity water polo team defeated Walnut Hills 18-3 on Wednesday, August 31st at Princeton High School.
Princeton’s offense was dominant. Outsourcing the Eagles 16-1 in the early minutes of the third quarter. Junior Mallory Green scored 7 goals to lead the charge.
Goalie Ava Sharpshair and the defense held the Eagles’ offense scoreless in two of the four quarters.

Princeton moved to 3-0 overall after defeating Lakota East 71-0 on Friday night. The Vikings' defense earned back-to-back shutouts, and currently yields just 216.7 total yards per game.
The offense finished the night with 616 total yards (404 rushing yards). RJ West finished with 168 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Riley Woods had 129 rushing yards on 2 attempts, and 2 catches for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns. Deandre Rutherford had 2 rushing touchdowns, Teryntino Brown-Freeman, RJ West, Micah Cottrell, and Antonio Hunter scored on the ground.
Tyson Beach and Dorian Williams each had a touchdown reception.
Defensively, Princeton limited the Thunderhawks to 76 total yards. CJ Coleman led the team with 7 total tackles. Breeon Ishmail finished with 6 tackles. PJ Nelson and Travis Lawrence each added 5 tackles. Micah Elliot and Donya Borden each recovered a fumble forced by PJ Nelson and Blake Howard.
Over the first three games, Princeton has several players ranked in the top 5 of the league in statistical categories.

PCMS Golf -
The Viking golfers continue to make great improvements during the beginning of the regular season. Trent Turner led the Vikings with a low score in the team’s recent match.

PCMS Boys Soccer -
The Vikings played a very tough Sycamore Aviators team on Wednesday evening. Byron Villatoro-Mendez scored on a beautiful headball, but the Aves scored two unanswered goals to defeat the Vikings 2-1. Princeton is currently 0-2-1 on the season.

PCMS Girls Soccer -
The Lady Vikings defeated Sycamore 3-0 on Wednesday evening. Kamryn Lowe scored 2 goals en route to the team’s 2nd win on the season. Princeton is currently 2-1-0 overall.

PCMS Volleyball -
The 7th and 8th-grade volleyball teams battled tough against the Sycamore Aviators but lost the matches on Thursday, September 1st.
Vikings travel to Edgewood on Tuesday, before hosting Plains on Thursday.

PCMS Football -
The 7th and 8th-grade football teams traveled to Mason on Thursday to take on the Comets. The Vikings battled until the final whistle but were unable to overcome the opposition. The 7th-grade team lost 12-8 and is now 1-1 on the season. The 8th-grade team lost 8-0 and is currently 0-2 on the season.

PCMS Cross Country -
The cross country team had a great race in the tough weather conditions at the Lebanon Running Warrior Meet. Austin Young led the boys team with a 14:24 mark. Lincoln Soots finished in 14:56, and Alan Marroquin Velasquez finished the race with a time of 15:09. The girls team was led by Eva Casto’s 15:32 mark. Erin Schutte ran a 16:38, Allison Campbell finished in 19:00, and Samantha Young crossed the finish line with a time of 19:07.

The Lady Vikings tennis program continues to display great improvement during the season. Princeton had the opportunity to play at Queen City due to weather against Kings.

Little Vikes Girls Basketball Tryouts - 5th & 6th Grade Girls
The Princeton Girls Basketball program will hold tryouts for their 5th & 6th Grade Girls teams on Sunday, October 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

The Princeton Lacrosse program will hold Fall clinics on Tuesday evenings, 5:00 to 6:00 PM, on the grass field behind the Stadium.
