The Princeton Athletics Hall of Fame Committee and Athletic Department are pleased to announce the inductees of the 16th Class into the Athletics Hall of Fame.
The individual inductees include; Natalie Gaenge ('84), Ariana Wilson ('97), Gary Nagel ('80), and Shaun Moss ('90).
In addition, the Committee is thrilled to induct two state championship teams, the 1981 Boys Water Polo Team, and the 1989 Girls Track Team.
This year's inductee class also includes Ron Carpenter ('88) (Elite Athlete), Dan Moody (Coach), and Pat Walden (Lifetime Achievement Award).
The Hall of Fame celebration will kick-off during halftime of the Middletown vs. Princeton Varsity Football Game, and will conclude with the Inductees' Ceremony on Saturday, October 8th.

In this episode of the Coaches Corner, Athletic Director Joe Roberts sits down with Coach Candice Campbell to discuss how this PHS Alum of 1990 still holds a 33-year record and went to the Olympic Trials in 1992.
Coach Campbell will be inducted into the Princeton Athletic Hall of Fame on October 8th. But you'll also learn how to eat a Snickers and hear her sing a song or two!

Congratulations to PJ Nelson, CJ Coleman, Emanuel Harris, and Ava Franklin on receiving Greater Miami Conference Athlete of the Week honors.
PJ Nelson is a sophomore on the football team. He recorded 9 total tackles, including 6 solo tackles in the team’s win at Hamilton. He also had 2 big sacks and 4 tackles for loss en route to the team’s third straight shutout.
CJ Coleman is a junior on the football team. He helped the Vikings defense hold Hamilton to 30 yards of total offense. CJ finished with 6 tackles, 4 solos, 1 sack, and 3 tackles for loss.
Emanuel Harris is a senior on the soccer team. He scored the winning goal against Colerain and has helped the Vikings jump out to a 2-0 start in the league.
Ava Franklin is a junior on the varsity soccer team. She has been the anchor for the Vikings young defense this year. Ava has done a great job shutting down the opposing team’s top offensive players.

On Saturday, the Princeton Cross Country team raced in the Mason Cross Country Invite at Corwin-Nixon Park. The girls team finished with a time of 2:18:07 with two Top 100 placers. Emily Johnson placed 60th overall with a time of 23:24.9, and Melanie Kessler finished 96th with a time of 24:41.3.
The boys team finished the 5K race in 1:45:36. The Vikings had two Top 100 placers. Ian Ewing-Jackson finished 84th (19:55.7), and Grant Smith finished 85th (19:55.9).

Princeton will race again on Saturday at the Eaton Invitational.

The Princeton girls tennis team defeated Hamilton 5-0 to improve to 6-5 overall, and 4-3 in the Greater Miami Conference. The Lady Vikings won all courts in straight sets! Princeton hosts a pair of matches against Cincinnati Country Day (9/14), and Mason (9/20). Start times for both home matches are set for 4:00 PM. | |

The Princeton girls golf team traveled to the Oxford Country Club to battle against Talawanda High School on Wednesday, September 7th. The Lady Vikings scored a 244 in the afternoon.
Sophia Roberts led the team with a new personal best round of 55. London Harris scored a 59, and Ariana Watson finished with a 60. Alexis Huwel shot a 70 in the match.
Princeton is at Walden Ponds Golf Course on September 13th & 14th for the GMC Golf Tournament.

The Vikings defeated Norwood 215-221 on Tuesday, September 13th, at Glenview East Golf Course. Scott Lawson was Medalist with a 47.
Last Thursday, Princeton scored 201 against St. Xavier. Scott Lawson shot a 47 to lead the Vikings. Jack Reynolds finished with a 50, and Kai Hannah scored a 51 in the match.
This season, Princeton has a team average score of 219.15 over 99 holes recorded.

The Princeton girls soccer team finished last week with a 0-1-1 record. The Lady Vikings are currently 1-3-2 overall, and will hit the road for two consecutive league matches against Fairfield (9/13) and Oak Hills (9/15).
Mia Runyan scored the lone goal during the week. The defense has played tough, allowing just 6 goals in the past four matches, with 3 goals coming in the 0-3 loss against Kings on Saturday.
Princeton returns to the home pitch on Saturday, September 17th, against Wester Brown and Thursday, September 22nd, against Lakota West.

The Vikings moved to 2-0 in league play after defeating Middletown 1-0 on Thursday, September 8th, at Princeton High School.
After a 0-0 score at the half, Princeton’s Aiden Billiter scored on a great assist from Will Oliver. The Vikings defense stood strong to secure their second consecutive shutout, and third overall this season.
Edwin Barrera finished the game with three saves.

The Princeton Lady Vikings have won 3 of its last 4 matches and are currently 5-5 overall. On Monday, Princeton defeated Northwest 3-0 (25-6, 25-12, 25-23). The Vikings continue their home stretch with 4 consecutive matches. | |

The Princeton boys water polo team traveled to Columbus this past weekend to compete in the Ohio Cup. The Vikings finished 3-2 in competition with wins over Oakwood (16-14), Napoleon (8-3), and Mason (11-8).
The scoring was led by Carson McDaniel. He scored 29 of the team’s 48 goals over the 5 games. The Vikings continued to display great passing, as the team dished out 40 assists. Matthew Hardman finished with 9 total assists, including a game-high 4 assists in the second match against St. Charles.
Jack McDaniel finished the weekend with 36 blocks.
Princeton is currently 15-7 on the season.

The Princeton girls water polo program hosted 10 schools to compete in the annual Princeton Girls Water Polo Invitational. Thank you to all the parent volunteers that made this event run smoothly. The Lady Vikings defeated Napoleon 9-4 to conclude the two-day tournament.
Goalie Ava Sharpshair and the defense held the Eagles’ offense scoreless in two of the four quarters.

Princeton football defeated Hamilton 26-0 to improve to 4-0 on the season. The Vikings recorded their third straight shutout.
The defense yielded just 30 yards of total offense by Hamilton. In the last three games, Princeton’s defense has allowed 222 total yards (74 yards/game).
Princeton will host Lakota West on Friday night. Game day tickets are available at www.vikenation.org/tickets.

PCMS Golf -
The Viking had a great home match against Oak Hills last week. New personal records were set by 3 of the 5 golfers in the match. Princeton looks forward to its next match, as the Vikings continue to drop scores during each performance.

PCMS Boys Soccer -
The Vikings defeated Norwood 6-0 to pick up their first win, and the defense recorded its first clean sheet of the season. Princeton’s goals came from Yann Moudoungou, Jameson Holloway, Nathan Dunn, Austin Coyle, Kevin Castaneda, and Benedict Yeboah.
Josue Garcia Chilel, Alex Santos Olivera, Jay Bannister, Byron Villatoro-Mendez, and Ryan Tracey were all credited with assists in the match.
Princeton (1-3-1) will host Seven Hills on Saturday morning in the Stadium. Kick-off is slated for 11:15 AM.

PCMS Girls Soccer -
The Lady Vikings soccer team picked up their third win of the season against Sycamore last week. Norah Martin and Navee’ah Benton scored in the 2-1 victory.
Princeton (3-1-0) will host CHCA on Thursday, and then play Seven Hills in the Stadium at 10:00 AM.

PCMS Volleyball -
The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams defeated Colerain on Monday, September 12th. The 7th grade team was down 0-1 before rallying back to win the match 2-1 on Tuesday, September 13th. The Vikings close out the week at home against White Oak on Thursday.

PCMS Football -
The 7th and 8th grade football teams have won back-to-back games against Sycamore and Hopewell. On Monday, the 7th grade team won 40-7, and the 8th grade team won 21-8.
Princeton travels to Colerain on Thursday in another Greater Miami Conference battle.

PCMS Cross Country -
On Thursday, September 8th the Vikings raced at the Sacred Heart Invitational. Lincoln Soots finished with a top time of 14:42. Personal records were set by Isaiah Cook, Isaiah Fishel, Owen Cardona, Cherif Sore, and Avah Hurst!
On Monday, September 12th, Princeton raced at the Ross Middle School Invitational. Once again, the Vikings had great individual runs, and personal records were set for everyone. Alan Marroquin Velasquez 14:21, Isaiah Cook 15:38; Colin Goodall 16:38; Cherif Sore 16:43; Isaiah Fishel 18:13; Owen Cardona 19:13. Samantha Young 17:35; Ryanne Farria 18:26; Vivian Fields 19:48; Zoey Scott 23:18. Eva Casto 15:59; Allie Campbell 18:04 (PR); Allie Rengering 20:09 PR; Avah Hurst 21:11 PR, Lincoln Soots PRs 13:50!! Jayden Riggsby PRs 15:17!!
Princeton will run at Sycamore on Thursday and then finish the long week of races on Saturday at the Eaton Invitational.

The Lady Vikings tennis program defeated Hamilton on the road last week. Doubles players Rose Brooks & Gillian Garland secured the win for Princeton. At Court #1, Nyomi Gregory defeated her opponent 8-3.

Little Vikes Girls Basketball Tryouts - 5th & 6th Grade Girls
The Princeton Girls Basketball program will hold tryouts for their 5th & 6th Grade Girls teams on Sunday, October 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
