Viking Engine 8th Annual Engine Workshop

February 7th - Join us for our 8th annual Viking Engine workshop. It is an all-day event starting at 8 AM until 5 PM. In years past, we spend the day going over the engine, components, maintenance, demo rides and get to know more about the customers, their planes and get a look at the actual installations. For a preview of the events, please refer to the schedule shown at the bottom of the newsletter.

We hang out until the evening and do a cookout here at the hangars.

The workshop is at no cost and the end goal is to ensure you step away learning something you didn't know before you walked through the hangar.

Get a chance to see our some of our engines installed in aircraft flying in and ask customer questions

Pictured above, Ricardo Gomez Fernandez and friends attended the engine workshop and a Zenith rudder workshop after making the trip from Southern Mexico. They had the opportunity to go up in Vikings Zenith CH 750 SD at the event.

Since that time, Ricardo became our engine dealer in Mexico and now has a fleet of Viking powered aircraft to include 4 different variants of Zenith, Glastars, Rans, Kitfox and a Pelican Aircraft as well.

To learn more about becoming a dealer, please reach out to Alissa at 386-566-2616. As we are ever expanding and now have a broad reach around the world with dealers in the following countries:

Australia, Swish Projects

Argentina

ZENITH WORKSHOP - TEXAS STYLE

Zenith Aircraft Building Workshop Returns to Southwest Texas on March 6th and 7th, 2026

Viking attends this workshop in Texas every year, put on by the help of Bill Fahey a Viking and Zenith customer and friend, Mark Ogden and Jaime Pujol. It is a great opportunity for us to help with questions and visit good friends. As we have a very large Viking community in Texas, what a great opportunity to visit! You can find more information on the workshop HERE..

With Zenith being number one for registered aircraft in the Light-Sport and Sport Pilot Market, many years in a row, Viking has been a big part of supplying the engines for them. With a quick and easy to build kit in combination with a very complete plug and play engine setup, it helps make a dream team. All of this makes your build time a lot shorter so you can spend more time in the air and less time on the ground with your thinking cap on.
