Those Healthy Bastards
Deane's short take-off in his custom STOL CH 701 powered by a 130 HP Viking engine at the annual “ Healthy Bastards Bush Pilot” contest. Deane makes everyone with a Viking engine proud by either placing first or having the shortest takeoff of the event. He is a regular contestant in NZ and has a lot of great off airport videos on his YouTube channel.

Ted Taylor Made His First Flight
Ted has a Viking 130 in his Zenith 750 STOL and just made his first flight.


The fun of flying has just started and we know his first 40 will be rewarding after this immense effort.


The quality and workmanship is hard to miss. What a beautiful airplane.

Bruce Cobo Made His First Flight

Bruce Cobo spent 8 years building this wonderful Zenith 750 STOL.

Nothing quite compares to the feeling you get from flying the aircraft you built for the first time.

John Heather in Australia
First Start
John has been steadfast in his CH-750 Cruzer build the last few years.

The rewards are obvious when you study the handiwork of his airframe build and engine installation.


Taxi
As shown in the video, John made an effort to taxi his airplane around in order to build confidence before the first flight.

Just Aircraft Superstol
The Viking Superstol is a significant contender and will perform better than the factory options for this airplane. Choose a stretched airframe along with the Viking 180 turbo engine and you have a serious machine in your hands. Viking has a complete firewall package for all Just Aircraft models, including engine HP choices, cowlings, propellers, etc. The Viking 130 is also available for the Superstol and Highlander models.
A Rans S-20 Nearing Completion
Kurt and Keith - our latest Rans aircraft heroes. Going against the norm all the way and showing that what our earlier Rans customers did was the right approach. More pictures of this build on his Viking customer page HERE . (See Lewis Brown below)
This S-20 airplane has the all new metal wing on the fabric covered fuselage. Power is by the trouble free Viking 130 model. Several Viking customers are now building the Rans S-21 Outbound. Note the different approach of how to feed the radiator with air between this and the Lewis airplane below.

Zenith 701 and 750 Models - Growing Wings
This CH-701 is sooooo close to first flight. Love the folding wings.

The airplane was just brought to his 700 foot strip in Texas and is being prepped for it's first flight.
