There's no classes - but CSU offices are "open".

Their paid international internships allow students and recent graduates an opportunity to develop the expanding set of competencies demanded in today’s global economy through sustained immersion in a foreign country - language learning, interdisciplinary problem solving, empathy, and respect for cultural attitudes and ideas, to name a few. Each year they send roughly 60 students from American universities abroad for high level PAID internships.

Join SGA and #VikeTheVote
As part of their #VikeTheVote initiative this year, the Student Government Association is hosting a live event on October 30th, aimed at highlighting civic engagement. For the month of October, students are invited to use SGA's Vike the Vote IG story filter to make a plan to vote in the upcoming election. Students who create a plan and share it on their stories will be entered to win a number of grand prizes, including air pods, CSU spirit gear and more. The winners will be announced during their Vike The Vote--LIVE event.

Their livestream will include messages from speakers like Justice Michael Donnelly of the Ohio Supreme Court and a few celebrity guests. As part of the event, SGA would like to highlight a few organizations on campus that have worked to register and educate student voters. They invite you to submit a video for their highlight reel, talking about your organization’s civic engagement efforts on campus to celebrate the work you’re doing for students.

Please limit your submissions to 30-45 seconds, and submit them to SGA at by midnight on Friday, October 23rd.

Walk-Up Flu Shots Available for On-Campus Students, Faculty and Staff

Beginning Monday, October 5, on-campus students, faculty and staff can receive flu shots from 1 – 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. The flu shots will be administered in the white tents behind the Center for Innovations and Medical Professions (CIMP) building. No appointments are needed and insurance will be billed.

CSU is also offering a walk-in flu shot clinic administered by CSU Nursing students. The clinic will take place inside the CIMP Atrium on Monday, October 5 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
