Alumni Classic Golf Outing Update
Dear Wood Golfers,

I hope you and your families are well and having a peaceful summer.

As you know, Wood's 30th Annual Alumni Golf Classic was rescheduled for October 9th with the hope that the COVID-19 crisis would have decreased. Unfortunately, that has not been the case.

Our Golf Chair, Ed Connolly, has been communicating with Five Ponds about their increased safety measures for the facility and restrictions for outings. Because we would have to, among other things, significantly decrease the number of golfers, number of guests permitted in the clubhouse, and hold an abbreviated (if any) food service, the outing would be seriously compromised.

With that in mind and the fact that Wood's #1 priority at all times is the health and safety of our guests, the decision was made to cancel the October 9th outing.  The good news is that we have already reserved May 7th, 2021 to hold what will be a combined 30th and 31st Annual Golf Classic and recognition of your tremendous support.

We understand that this is disappointing news as the Wood Annual Alumni Golf Classic is a highlight of our year because YOU make it so special!  With 98% of our proceeds from the golf event helping families in need of tuition assistance, it is a crucial part of our scholarship and financial aid program.  We are thankful for your faithful and generous support which has provided more than $100,000 in scholarships for families with economic challenges.

If you have already made a reservation for the golf outing, please let me know if you wish to save your spot for the May 7th outing or have your payment refunded.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding and for being a champion of Archbishop Wood.

Stay safe!

Blessings,

Sarah Louise Hale

Adopt-A-Chair & Class of 2014 News
On Friday, November 29, 2019 the Class of 2014 held their 5 year reunion at the VFW in Warminster, PA.

After gathering together as many classmates as they could (approximately 100 people) they raised enough money and they ADOPTED A CHAIR with the proceeds!!! Claire Repisky, Student Council President said, "It was very casual yet spirited, and you could tell everyone was just so happy to be together.  The Class of 2014 decided to Adopt a Chair so that for years to come we'll always have a special seat in our former home."

Thank you Class of 2014 for creating a lasting tribute to your Alma Mater! Proceeds from this program will directly benefit and support the AWHS Fine Arts Departments: Concert Band, String Ensemble, Choir, Drumline, Jazz Band, Performing Arts/Theater and Art Department!

We would like to invite and encourage everyone to look into adopting a chair! Click here to learn more!
A Message from Faith In The Future
A Catholic education provides top quality academic opportunities, holistic, and faith-based experiences for all. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 crisis, many families are facing economic challenges.

What can you do to help? Please consider supporting Archbishop Wood by donating to a new tuition assistance program at give.faithinthefuture.com.

Plus, your gift will be matched, dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000! For example, a $10.00 gift will become a $20.00 gift and go directly to Archbishop Wood’s tuition assistance program for a Wood family in-need of financial aid.

Thank you for being a champion of Archbishop Wood’s tradition of excellence for the leaders of tomorrow.
