Scene-Setting Music in Downtown Wilmette Tonight!

Come dine outdoors in downtown Wilmette tonight, Friday, June 12 from 6-8 p.m. while Wilmette's own Chris Karabas and fiddle player Emma Smoler bring their heartland style to downtown diners. The duo will play near the corner of Wilmette and Central avenues. Thank you for not gathering, as this is not a concert but ambient background music, and Phase 3 health and safety guidelines remain in effect and
will be enforced.

Outdoor Dining
Takeout doesn't have to mean "take home"! The Village has set up tables for outdoor dining at the Village Green and Veteran's Park to ensure safe dining experiences. There are garbage cans at both locations with restrooms and hand-washing stations at the Village Green. Please clean the tables before and after use.

For more info about what the Village is doing to support outdoor dining, visit our website.
Help Us Move to the Next Phase of Reopening!

We all want to move to Phase 4 of Illinois' five-phase reopening plan, and the actions you take now will help us get there! Remember that in our current phase (Phase 3), face coverings in public continue to be required when you cannot maintain a distance of six feet or greater from others. Also,  gatherings of 10 people or fewer are allowed and preventative measures are still critical, like washing your hands often and staying home if you are sick. Thank you for doing your part to resume normal life!

Visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for more information about preventing COVID-19 spread where we live, work, learn and play

Call JULIE Before You Dig

If you are planting a tree, installing a fence or deck or doing any other home improvement project that involves digging, remember to call JULIE (811 from a cell phone or 1-800-892-0123) before you begin. JULIE is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to keeping Illinois safe and connected. JULIE will notify your utility company to send locators to mark underground facilities with paint and/or flags. Once you know the approximate location of utility lines, you can dig safely without running the risk of service disruptions, potential injuries, fines and repair costs.
