Suburban Cook County Now in Tier 1
As of Jan. 23, Suburban Cook County (Region 10) is in Tier 1 of the State’s COVID-19 mitigation plan. Notable changes include reopening of limited indoor dining and gatherings of up to 25 individuals permitted.

Support local businesses safely! We’re all eager to enjoy local restaurants and bars again – but be sure to do so safely to keep our region moving in the right direction toward reopening! Face coverings are still required in public places, including at restaurants (except when eating/drinking), and social distancing and frequent handwashing remain critical tools for slowing the spread of COVID-19.
Contact Tracers: Answer the Call
Help stop the spread of COVID-19 by answering the call from contact tracers. Contact tracers are public health workers who reach out to people who have tested positive and their close contacts (those within six feet for 15 minutes or more) to provide health guidance, answer questions and offer support. If a contact tracer calls, the number that will appear on your phone is 312-777-1999 and/or IL COVID HELP.
