FINANCE DIRECTOR
The Village of Chagrin Falls is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Finance Director. The Director of Finance shall be the head of the Department of Finance and the fiscal officer of the Municipality.

SAFETY TOWN
REGISTRATION OPEN!

Chagrin Falls Safety Town is a nationally recognized safety awareness program for children entering kindergarten. The Chagrin Falls Police Department and youth volunteers, with the cooperation of the Chagrin Falls Fire Department and the Chagrin Valley Jaycees, will teach the classes.

The Village has moved to ReadyNotify is an emergency notification system (powered by CodeRED). It is also used by Cuyahoga County to issue notifications to the public.
HYDRANT FLUSHING
STARTING APRIL 4TH
All fire hydrants will be tested & flushed starting on April 4th and will continue daily, in order by street thereafter.

$3.5M FEDERAL FUNDING
WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT MODERNIZATION
The Village received a federal appropriation of $3,500,000 for the modernization of our waste water treatment plant.
 
The federal funding will materially reduce the cost of this required plant modernization. These costs would have otherwise had to been paid by sewer charges on customer’s utility bills.

OVERNIGHT PARKING
Request overnight parking by providing details of your location and vehicle. If there is an issue the police department can reach out to you.

VACATION WATCH
Provide property details and date ranges. Time permitting, officers will periodically check on your home.

BIKE MANAGEMENT
Provide details of your bicycle in case it is lost or stolen.

PET MANAGEMENT
Provide us with the details of your pet including a picture and your contact information. This allows us to easily identify the owners of a lost pet.

HERITAGE HOME PROGRAM
CLEVELAND RESTORATION SOCIETY
The Village of Chagrin Falls is a participant community in the Cleveland Restoration Society’s Heritage Home Program that provides owners of homes 50 years or older with access to guidance and low-interest equity loans for home improvement and maintenance projects.
The free, impartial technical assistance includes:
  • Site visits to assess projects and provide feedback
  • Advice on kitchen and bathroom remodels
  • Advice on repair and maintenance as well as compatible additions
  • Assistance finding contractors and evaluation of contractor estimates
  • Impartial product and service reviews
  • Color consultations for exterior painting
