As a reminder, the Village Board now meets once a month on the 2nd Tuesday beginning at 5:00pm.

Sunday Street Closures

The Wild West Days Parade will begin at noon on Sunday and will temporarily impact traffic on Brodhead and Hudson Street.

Phase 3 Bluff Park Project

WisCorp will return the week of September 22nd to complete the 2025 trail project. This project was funded through the DNR Recreational and Trails Grant.

The project has increased the accessibility of the trails by creating more gradual inclines and stairs. Be sure to check it out this fall.

Lion's Park Black Earth Creek Project

Dane County and their contractors have began to restore the creek corridor near Walking Iron and Lions Park, as their initial restoration efforts did not meet the Village's approval. Once completed, and as staff time allows, the John's Landing sign will be added.

Garbage Collection

Due to Labor Day, garbage collection will occur on Friday, September 5th.

Unpaid Utility Bills

Letters will be distributed in the coming weeks to customers with delinquent utility accounts. Please be advised that any unpaid balances not resolved by October 15th will be placed on the property tax roll, along with significant penalties. We encourage all customers to bring their accounts current as soon as possible to avoid additional charges.

Reservoir #2 Project

USG Water Solutions completed restoring the Reservoir on September 2nd. The reservoir has passed all necessary requirements to return to service and has been in operation since mid-August.

“GET OUTSIDE” AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM

(STARTS SEPT. 16)

Join Lussier Family Heritage Center for the afterschool Get Outside! Program. The program focuses on equitable and inclusive access to environmental and outdoor activities and education. Fall Schedule: Sept. 16 Fishing, Oct. 7 Nature Hike, Nov. 4 Geocaching.

Students are picked up at school and dropped off after the program at the Mazomanie Free Library. Registration is required – call 608-224-3604 or online lussierheritagecenter.com
