Library News

Speak Up for Libraries

On March 31, 2025, all Institute of Museum and Library Services employees were placed on administrative leave, with access to their work systems blocked. The President replaced the agency's leadership with the Deputy Secretary of Labor. Without leadership and staff, it's expected that library funding will be halted. Raise your voice, take action, and advocate for libraries.

A mini food pantry and snack shop is now open in the library. The library will have a variety of non-perishable items for quick ready-to-eat meals or snacks. This program is a collaboration to help supplement food needs. There are a limited supply of items available and are courtesy of the Mazomanie American Legion and The River Food Pantry.
