Who: Join the Windsor Deputies for a morning of fun decorating sugar cookies, making crafts and playing games. Event is free to attend. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Plant Dane Program: Purchase/Donate Discounted Native Plants

The Plant Dane Native Plant Program offers Dane County residents and organizations a way to purchase or donate native plants at the reduced rate of $2.88/plant. Plant orders will be accepted through March 19th (while supplies last).

Donate Plants to the Token Creek Conservancy: As part of the Plant Dane Program, people can also donate plants to local projects. One of the projects to donate to is for the Token Creek Conservancy. Any donated plants will be planted near the Culver Springs area. To donate, please select the project name: Culver Springs Restoration- Windsor.

Curbside Brush Collection

Policy Change

Brush for curbside collection should now be stacked with cut ends parallel to the Road. Public Works staff will be utilizing additional equipment to help with brush collection and with the use of the equipment, it is necessary to stack the brush with cut ends parallel to the road.

The Mueller Rd. Recycling Center's hours have been expanded! You can view the hours on the Recycling Centers Calendar or the Windsor Recycling Centers webpage.

2024 Dog Licenses

Don't forget to license your dog for 2024. Dog license applications can be completed online. You will need copy of current rabies vaccination certificate and proof of spay/neuter (if applicable).

Election Reminder: No Spring Primary for Windsor Residents

The Village of Windsor does not need to have a Spring Primary in February. That means that the next election for Windsor residents will be the Spring Election and Presidential Preference Vote on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.


Now is a great time to make sure you are ready to vote for 2024! If you have recently moved, changed your name or turned 18, you can visit MyVote Wisconsin to verify your voter registration and/or update and complete your registration.


If you are looking to vote absentee by mail for any, or all, of the 2024 Elections, you can also submit an application via MyVote Wisconsin.
