April 1, 2025 Election Information

Voting:

  • Absentee by Mail: Application must be in writing. You can submit an application at MyVote Wisconsin.
  • In-person Absentee: In-person absentee voting occurs at the Windsor Municipal Building from March 18, 2025 to March 28, 2025. Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm except for Friday, March 28, 2025 the office will be open until 5:00 pm.
  • Election Day - April 1, 2025: Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm. We have two polling locations! Make sure you know your polling location on Election Day. Find my polling location.


Registration (Proof of Residence Document Required):

  • Clerk's Office: Register to vote at the Windsor Municipal Building during normal business hours until Friday, March 28, 2025.
  • Polling Place: Voters can also register on Election Day at their polling location.

You can verify your voter registration by visiting MyVote Wisconsin. Please note the options to register online and by mail have closed ahead of the April Election.

Windsor Post Office

The facade improvements to the Windsor Post Office are scheduled to begin soon, weather dependent. There will be periods of time where access to the lobby will be restricted to the same hours as the Post Office window service (8:30am-12:30pm). We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we complete the improvements.

Recycling Centers Attendant:

Perform a variety of tasks in the operation of the Windsor Recycling Centers.

Dogs: Leash, Clean-up, License

Leash: Dogs must be leashed and under the control of a person when off-premises of the owner. This includes on the Village paths. This is for the safety of all. Please also note that dogs are not allowed in Village Parks, except when leashed, pets may walk through on the path.In the Token Creek Conservancy, dogs are only allowed, on leash, at the Elmer & Edna Culver Site.


Clean up: Please promptly clean up after your dog.


License: Don't forget to license your dog for 2025. Dog license applications can be completed online.

Mark your Calendar: Special Events at Windsor Recycling Center

Shred Event:

  • When: Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
  • Who: Event Open to Windsor Residents Only.
  • Must have Recycling Centers permit
  • Rules:
  • Accepted materials: 
  • Paper products only (file folders, checks, junk mail, old tax forms, etc.). 
  • Note: Staples, paper clips and rubber bands do not need to be removed. 
  • Amount allowed: 
  • Residents can bring the equivalent of up to 3 boxes of paper or 3 bags of paper = 50 pounds. Plastic bags cannot be shredded. It is preferred that customers bring their material in paper bags. Please note that the items will still need to be dumped out of the paper bag or box. 
  • Materials not accepted:
  • No three ring binders, no hanging file folders, no binder clips, no plastic sheet protectors
  • No media such as CD's, floppy discs, tapes or credit cards

Electronic Recycling:


Electronic recycling also occurs, select dates, at the Windsor Recycling Center at 4160 County Highway V in May.
