  • Need to request a mailed absentee ballot? Fill out an application at MyVote Wisconsin.
  • Looking to vote Absentee in-person? In-person absentee voting begins on October 22, 2024. All in-person absentee voting for Windsor residents occurs at the Windsor Municipal Building. Hours can be found on Windsor's Elections webpage.
  • Moved or changed your name? You can register on MyVote Wisconsin.

September 21 to 29, 2024 is a week dedicated to learning about stormwater, what it is, the problems it can cause, and actions people can take to prevent stormwater pollution to our waters. WindsorFest

Our annual Community Festival, WindsorFest, hosted in partnership with the DeForest Windsor Area Chamber of Commerce, celebrates the area with a nod to the past, a celebration of present and a look to the future.

  • Location: Fireman’s Park, 4431 Windsor Rd.
  • Date: Saturday, September 28, 2024
  • Time: Event starts at 8 am with a pancake breakfast hosted by Boy Scout Troop 155. The rest of the activities begin at 11 am. The Playlist is in the Music tent from 6 pm to 9:30 pm.

New StoryWalk® Book for Fall

The StoryWalk ®, located in Windsor Crossing Conservancy, off of North Towne Rd., has a new book! The Leaf Thief is a funny picture book that teaches kids about autumn, adapting to change and the seasons.


“The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.”

New Windsor Municipal Building as of September 19, 2024.

Village staff have received a number of inquires about what is being built in the Village Center off of North Towne Rd. and visible from Hwy 51. The answer is a new restaurant to be called The Windsor.
