Roadwork Update

Significant progress was made last week as construction crews continued work on key infrastructure improvements along CTH CV and adjacent areas.

Work Completed Last Week

The utility crew made headway with critical water system updates, completing two major tie-ins — one at the Golf Drive intersection and another near Pine Crest Lane. Following this, they focused on removing outdated fire hydrants, preparing asphalt cuts for upcoming sanitary sewer installations, and performing site clean-up by removing excess materials from the project area.

Meanwhile, the road crew was busy preparing the roadway base on CTH CV, from STH 19 to Kenworth Drive, as well as on Lake Circle, stretching from CTH CV to the west cul-de-sac. These preparations set the stage for upcoming paving activities.

Additionally, Windsor Road paving was successfully completed last week, marking another milestone in the overall improvement project.

Work Anticipated This Week

Looking ahead, the utility crew will continue sanitary sewer installation, progressing from Golf Drive toward Maple Lane. Drivers should be aware that traffic access routes may shift daily — updated routes will be displayed on changeable message boards in the area.

The road crew will resume efforts to prepare the roadway from STH 19 to Pine Crest Lane and continue work on Lake Circle, getting both sections ready for paving.

Restoration efforts will also take place this week on Windsor Road, including the re-establishment of grass areas and the installation of traffic signs along completed sections. Pavement marking is expected to occur either at the end of this week or early next week, depending on weather and crew availability.
