Dear Villanova Parent,
A new school year has begun, which means a whole new year of birthdays and holidays to celebrate! We are excited to offer you an opportunity to send a special treat to your Villanova student to help celebrate these occasions! Through the Villanova Band, you can order a birthday or holiday cake to be delivered directly to your on-campus student this school year.
What is the Villanova Band
Cake Fundraiser?
The Villanova Band Cake Fundraiser allows parents and friends of Villanova students to order baked goods for Villanova students living on campus. You have the choice between a wide variety of delicious icings and fillings to add to your cakes or cupcakes! The cakes can be delivered for birthdays, major holidays, national championship wins, or any other celebration!
Be sure to check out our Wildcat Birthday Holiday Package! Surprise your son or daughter for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, AND his or her birthday!
To ensure that your son or daughter receives his/her baked goods on time, please submit orders at least ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE.
Cakes are delivered every Tuesday evening closest to your student's birthday, and holiday cakes are delivered every Tuesday evening closest to the holiday. Band members personally deliver the cakes directly to your son's or daughter's dorm room. It is always wonderful to receive a special treat from Mom or Dad to celebrate a birthday, holiday, or just a way to show that you're thinking about them!
Who Sponsors This Fundraiser?
The Villanova Band is the oldest and largest student-run musical organization on campus. We perform for various university functions throughout the year. We are most visible as the Pep Band at Villanova basketball games, but we do a whole lot more. The Villanova Band operates as the University's Pep Band, Scramble Band, and Concert Band all in one. The Band is an official University group, operating under the umbrella of Music Activities.
This is one of the Villanova Band's main fundraisers, which helps raise money for our Fall Tour. Fall Tour is a service trip which allows the band to travel to a different part of the country each year. Each trip, we perform at different venues including schools, nursing homes, and veterans' hospitals. This fundraiser helps us subsidize the cost of these service trips so that more students are able to participate in this incredible experience. We would greatly appreciate your support!
